Ebreichsdorf (pta013/28.12.2021/16:30) - The Management Board announces that there is a growing risk that essential components in the upstream supply chain can only be delivered with significant delays. This may lead to a temporary reduction in production at the subsidiary Kostad Steuerungsbau GmbH. As a matter of entrepreneurial prudence, applications for short-time work are being prepared in Austria and Switzerland. The extent of the necessary utilization remains to be seen.
On the part of a major supplier of electronic components, the supply situation is not expected to ease until March 2022. The shortage of electrotechnical components and in particular electrical chips is an industry-wide phenomenon, which is why it is not possible to procure replacements in the short term.
